Dionysius of Vienne

Hiero martyr saint Dionysius of Vienne was the sixth Bishop of Vienne, in France. Around A.D. 177 Dionysius succeeded St. Justus as Bishop of Vienne , in Dauphiné , France. He was martyred after A.D. 193, under Emperor Septimius Severus, and his feast day is on May 8 .
