Earconwald of London

Our father among the saints Earconwald of London (also Ercenwald or Erkenwald ) was bishop of London in the Anglo-Saxon Church of England during the latter decades of the seventh century. He came to be called "The Light of London". His feast day is April 30 . He is also commemorated for the translations of his relics on February 1 and May 13 .
Troparion
As a rule of faith and model of tenderness, and teacher of abstinence hath the reality shewn thee unto thy flock; there withal hast thou acquired by humility greatness, by poverty riches; O father hierarch Earconwald, intercede before Christ the God that our souls may be saved.
Kontakion
O divine thunder, spiritual trumpet, planter of faith and cutter off of heresies, great favourite of the Trinity, hierarch Earconwald, standing with the angels before God do ever and unceasingly pray for us all.
