Who we are

SerbLink is registered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at contact@serblink.org.

Who may use SerbLink

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Anyone may browse events and the Orthodox calendar without one.

Your account

Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at contact@serblink.org if you think someone else has access to it.

Events and tickets

Events on SerbLink are organised by other people, not by us. We list them and issue tickets, but the event itself — whether it happens, when, where, and what it is like — is the organiser's responsibility.

Where an event charges for entry, payment is taken by Stripe. Refunds and changes are a matter for the organiser under the terms they published; write to them first, and to us if you cannot reach them.

We take reasonable care with what is listed, but we do not guarantee that an event's details are accurate or current. Check with the organiser before you travel.

Using SerbLink properly

Please do not:

• Use SerbLink for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
• Post content that is hateful, deceptive, or not yours to post.
• Scrape the service, break into it, or interfere with how it runs for other people.

Content you submit

Anything you post stays yours. By posting it you give us permission to store and display it as part of running the service, and to stop doing so if it breaks these terms. We may remove content that does.

Our content

The SerbLink name, design, and software are ours. You may use the service as it is offered; please do not copy or reuse those parts of it without asking.

Other people's material

The Orthodox calendar comes from Orthodox Atlas, and SerbLink links out to other websites. We do not control that material and are not responsible for it.

Availability

We would like SerbLink to be available and correct at all times, but we cannot promise it. The service is provided as it is, and we may change or withdraw parts of it.

Limits of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything that happens at an event you found through SerbLink. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and none of it affects consumer rights you have where you live.

Ending it

You can delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do we change the date at the top of the page, and we tell you in the app if the change is a significant one. Continuing to use SerbLink after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
