Antonije Veliki (grč. Ἀντώνιος ὁ Μέγας, kop. Ⲁⲃⲃⲁ Ⲁⲛⲧⲱⲛⲓ; Koma, 12. januar 251 — Kolzim, 17. januar 356) bio je hrišćanski asketa koji je živeo u Egiptu u 3. i 4. veku. Smatra se ocem pustinjačkog (otšelničkog) monaštva i hrišćanskog monaštva uopšte.

You imitated the ways of zealous Elijah,
and followed the straight path of John the Baptist.
You became a desert dweller
and strengthened the world by your prayers.
Father Anthony, intercede with Christ God that our souls may be saved.

You rejected the tumult of this life
and lived your life to the end in solitude,
imitating the Baptist in every way.
